Update for Where Winds Meet released

An open-world online game with a story in the wuxia genre (as in medieval Chinese novels) received an upgrade to version 1.2 after the New Year holidays. The update Where Winds Meet includes maps of «Nine Paths of Death» and «Prison of the Misty Veil», events in the Kaifeng prefecture, a preparatory stage for the guild battle, a fresh story chapter, as well as an upgrade to the training ground. On it, you can now beat up not only regular dummies, but also a boss dummy — a boon for those who decided to warm up before a raid. We tell you what else has changed in the NetEase-published action game.

What is interesting about Where Winds Meet version 1.2?

Developers have added locations with activities to the «sandbox». Those who from January 23 go to explore the map of «Nine Paths of Death» will be able to earn a unique achievement, costume and title. And from the 16th of the same month, gamers will meet a new character in Kaifeng — he will point the way to adventures and treasures. But it should be noted that this mini-plot is designed for solo players, not groups. If you prefer company, you can join the preparatory stage of the guild battle — it itself will take place from January 17 to February 6. To participate, you need to have guild level 3 with 30,000 prosperity points for your group. The preparation includes learning skills and training competitions.

The update brought not only rewards, but also penalties. Now for those who repeatedly violate the rules of conduct on servers, confinement in a virtual prison applies — violators get into it together with partners, teachers, and students. But in the game, prisoners can arrange a joint demonstration to soften their punishment. The list of lost chapters has been supplemented by «Whisper under the Moon» — to start, it is enough to have a level 32 hero and be in Kaifeng. Fans of warm-ups before battles have received several dummies to choose from, varying in size and HP amount. The techniques practiced on dummies will come in handy for everyone who wants to take part in the martial arts festival — it will last until the third of next month.
