A major update for Wildgate has been released
Space PvPvE shooter Wildgate from studio Moonshot Games has received the Emergence expansion. In it, gamers will find two new modes, an expansion of the starship roster, balance adjustments, and an unusual area on the map. The public will also meet a heroine named Charlie — she can quickly teleport to her allies, revive them, and heal herself with energy fields. Anyone interested can try out these changes, since until November 24, the game is being made free — to try it out, you now only need a Steam account.
What does the Emergence expansion change in Wildgate?

Charlie is a character with a hundred health points. Since this is not entirely a material being, it survives where others perish under harmful radiation. Moreover, Charlie heals itself through radiation, fire, shock fields, and space storms. The heroine can also provide assistance to teammates — she teleports to any teammate (alive or dead) within 150 meters and instantly revives the fallen. Clearly, this is a team fighter. But for those who prefer solo adventures, the Outlaw ship has been introduced. Specifically for compact starships, Moonshot developers have made balance adjustments — these types of vehicles have become more mobile.
As for modes, the shooter has added «Treasure Hunt» and «Fleet Battle». In the first, a maximum of three ships with 1-4 people on board participate — all of them need to fend off AI-controlled enemy attacks, collect treasures, and evacuate through Wild Gates. In the second, two teams of 12 participants are needed — both sides deal damage to each other, delivering artifacts to their fleet and thereby earning victory points. A zone called «Dead Worlds» has appeared on the galaxy map. The area is anomalous — there is no ice, but planet fragments drift and unique rules apply. For example, here you can accelerate by flying through a Warp Ring, repair your vehicle at the Crimson Tower, or get caught in a sandstorm.
