A major update for ARK: Survival Ascended has been released
The developers of a multiplayer survival simulator with dinosaur taming have presented the Pyranthos territory, inspired by Ancient Greece. Here, you can not only ride a triceratops but also battle enemies in Spartan hoplite armor, venture into a cave to face the Minotaur, and encounter a phoenix, a manticore, and a pair of giant scorpions. However, these are by no means all the changes that have become available in the game ARK: Survival Ascended thanks to the release of a patch called Asteros.
What makes the Asteros expansion for ARK: Survival Ascended interesting

Piranthos is a fairy-tale land of scorching deserts, yellow cliffs, and ancient statues. It is here that heroes can encounter monsters from ancient Greek myths. As the developers themselves state, this area is designed for exploration but does not encourage carelessness. There are five caves with artifacts here, and to obtain them, one must battle monsters. In one dungeon, the brave are met by the Minotaur, while in another, there is a drone nest. Additionally, the sandy territories are prowled by the Queen and King Scorpions—gigantic crustaceans ready to suddenly pounce on an unwary traveler. The boss arena, in turn, is occupied by a manticore that has flown in from the Scorched Earth.
Among the creatures added to the game, the Great Tortugar is of particular interest. It is both a dinosaur somewhat resembling a turtle and a mobile fortress with a room inside. The creature can be used for trade, transporting an entire party of characters, or simply for defense against enemies. It can even be used as a bathyscaphe for descending to the seabed in search of resources—Tortugar is suitable for that too.
