The global version of AION 2 launches — as early as today

NC has completed the final preparations for the international launch of its new MMORPG AION 2. As of 16:00 MSK, after the completion of technical work, the game can be downloaded for free on any convenient platform — Steam users, for whom the client is unavailable due to their region, can download the necessary files from PURPLE. The new release, by the way, includes Russian localization by default. In addition, a list of all servers and answers to the most pressing questions about the release has been published.

The game is not only free, but also offers all users gifts in honor of the launch: everyone who creates an account will receive a set of potions, enhancement scrolls, and rare pets. It is worth noting that the offer is valid only for the first two months from the day of the release. As is known, in the fairy-tale world of AION 2 two factions oppose each other — the Asmodians and the Elyos, and nine servers will be opened for each of them. In total, the opening of 36 European servers is planned, which Russian gamers can join, except perhaps for residents of the Far East, for whom Asia is closer. Before entering the virtual world, it is better to check your ping in advance — to maintain a stable connection, NC specialists use Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

The developers promise to preserve early access progress for those who participated in testing or purchased the founder's pack. The character transfer feature will become available on October 14. It is also worth arranging with friends in advance about adding heroes to the same world and the same group if you plan to play together, since at the cross-server level only expeditions and dungeons will remain available, not adventures on the map as a whole.
