'Keepers Uprising' will soon begin in Albion Online

Company Sandbox Interactive is teasing a mysterious event that will happen in MMORPG Albion Online as early as July 4. Judging by the trailer, the action will somehow be connected to portals placed across the map of Albion. But what exactly the appearance of these structures will turn out to be in the fairy-tale lands, the developers are not yet explaining. However, some information can be gleaned from the published materials.

The inhabitants of Albion are whispering that something interesting will soon begin in the Wild Lands — the Keepers are worried for a reason. And on the fourth day of next month, an uprising will begin among them, which will last until the end of the 33rd guild season. The developers call this event unique, meaning there has never been anything like it in the game before. It is already known that it will be a series of missions united by a common plot. Users will not only have to complete quests, but also monitor the progress bar. The developers also made it clear that these activities will count towards seasonal challenges — on par with raids, tending virtual garden beds, and fishing.

The rewards are also promised to be unique, not just regular seasonal ones. Those who aren't ready to wait can take part in an unusual activity available right now. We are talking about the Albion football tournament, dedicated to the FIFA championship. Matches are held every Saturday until July 19, and the rules, surprisingly, are classic. Two teams of 11 players take to the field, each with their own goal — you need to score goals against the opponents and try to make sure the attackers don't break through your defense.
