The Lord of Destruction has made an appearance in Smite 2

Titan Forge Games has released an add-on for its MOBA Smite 2 about battles of celestials, where Kali became available among the heroes. According to Hindu beliefs, Kali is the goddess of death, horror and destruction, one of the ten most powerful female beings. In myths, she was the consort of Shiva, who, in general, also not at all benign. As for the game incarnation, the lady with blades marks her victims, absorbing their life energy, and kills them with the ultimatum skill. Let's talk about the new character in more detail.

Recall for the sake of order that the game is now in open beta, but is available to everyone for free. It already has dozens of characters, and all from the myths of different peoples and eras. The developers have gotten to Kali. She is able to put a mark on any enemy, and then change the target at the fountain. If the victim dies, the marked becomes the hero of the same team, located nearby. And whoever destroys Kali herself will regain health points. In melee combat, she uses a jump with a punch that hits multiple enemies at once. "Whip Strike" throws forward three blades that open up the opponent to bleed - 0.5 physical damage each for 3 seconds. There is also a way to stun enemies by activating the "Incense" skill.

The ultimatum ability is "Destruction". At the moment of activation, the heroine becomes immune to damage, slowing and immobilization, but takes 0.25 life points per second for the duration of the skill. However, the update is not limited to Kali alone: you can also find alternative looks for other deities, emotions, cosmetic items and God Builder editor. It allows you to create your own characters with any appearance traits and skills, and then share them with the community.
