Studio PocketGame has presented a cooperative pocket monster breeding simulator Pickmon, which many are already comparing to the widely known Steam hits. But does the new game offer anything original?

According to the developers, the game sends heroes to a fairy-tale continent inhabited by pickmons—creatures just like Pokémon. They can be explored, tamed, and used for practical purposes. For example, they can help in battle or assist in the garden, where they make it easier to grow crops. The creatures are also good at crafting—it's worth remembering that PocketGame employees define their work's genre as survival crafting: characters here will have to survive through labor, resource gathering, tool creation, and other handicrafts.
