In Smite 2, they let you play as Rama and Achilles

Recently it became known that the company Hi-Rez is reducing the funding of all its projects, except for the only game in the MOBA genre. It is Smite 2 that the developers are pinning their hopes on, and that's why they are focusing on releasing updates for it. The next patch introduces several changes in gameplay and adds two heroes - Achilles from the myths of Ancient Greece and Rama from the Indian epic. Also, the next season has started in the strategic action game - let's tell you more about what's going on.

What does the February update change in Smite 2?

The multiplayer arena is not going smoothly so far: the reviews of it on Steam are mixed, and the launch of the open free beta only partially saves the situation. That's why Hi-Rez employees are busy producing characters and appearance types for them - the virtual world now even has a mobile marketplace where you can check out new costumes of Fenrir, Thor and Nu Va. To use the shop's services, you need to get special coins in battle and then replenish your collection of outfits with them.

As for the battles themselves, there are several major changes. Firstly, the damage from titans is now directed in the same way as tower attacks - they hit minions, not gods under the control of the match participants. At the same time, the area of the AoE strike has been reduced - all of this repeats the rules of the first part, which the public considers more successful at this point. The maximum level of bosses in the jungle has also been increased, from 30 to 40. This was done so that even in the late stages of the match gamers would not hesitate to go to the forest for loot.

Replenishment of the roster of fighters in the person of Rama and Achilles is a gift to fans of tough style. Indian hero is very agile and markable, spends astral arrows for shots and saves energy for ultimatum attacks. In a difficult moment, Rama can soar upward and unleash his fury on his opponents below, making him dangerous even after being wounded. The Greek hero, for his part, prefers close combat, relying on his lats and powerful blows with his spear or shield. The special technique of the son of Peleus allows him to quickly execute any wounded opponent.
