Major changes are coming to Palia

Singularity 6 Corporation has announced the development plan for its MMO game for the next few months. The roadmap is called Fall's Faire — it contains a large number of updates. Among them are co-op activities, access to a mountain location, friendship quests, a battle pass, and a festival scheduled for autumn. All these additions will improve the project to version 0.206 and will be free, meaning all owners of the original product will be able to install them. Let's discuss this in more detail.

The main innovation will be additional ways for characters to interact in the game world. Soon, a co-op activity will begin for all gamers — the reconstruction of the Kilima docks, which will ultimately allow opening the Royal Highlands. The developers call this type of activity "Civil Projects": in them, many people collectively achieve a single goal, sacrificing time and resources. Restoring the docks, for example, will require creating supply kits, and then, after sailing to the mountainous area, will also bring memorable rewards to all participants. There will also be quests related to friendship, titles, tools for customizing characters' eyebrows and eyelashes, a free camera in photo mode, and an increase in the number of available server connections.

In parallel, work is underway on the capacity of individual locations. For example, right now one character can invite up to thirty neighbors to their plot for some joint activity. But the Royal Highlands will support 50 players simultaneously. The changes can be tested at the end of October — during the festival dedicated to Halloween. For winter, the release of story missions and mechanics for cooperative estate construction is planned. Among other things, there will be the ability to take any furniture out of the house into the adventure zone.
