The fifth season has begun in Overwatch
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the start of another season, titled A Grim Doctrine, in its online shooter Overwatch. The changes, while not radical, are significant: the game has received a new character, a battlefield in Iceland, the Mystery Madness: Graveyard Games match mode, where everyone gets a random hero, as well as many less significant additions. But this is worth telling in more detail.
What changes in Overwatch with the release of A Grim Doctrine?

The main event of the update was, of course, the presentation of the hero nicknamed Doctrine. The fighter has a somewhat gloomy appearance, one of his hands is mechanical, and as a weapon he uses a scepter on a long shaft — this item harms enemies and heals allies. The drones that follow their master everywhere are also a big help. Doctrine himself once served time in the Watchpoint: Grimsvotn prison, where he now has to return to take part in the battles of the Escort mode. The location is situated somewhere in the middle of Iceland, and other characters can keep the newcomer company. It is this challenge that brings the Talon's Dominion storyline to a close.
The temporary Mystery Madness: Graveyard Games mode, which will remain in the game until November 2, is a variation of Mystery Heroes. Here, everyone is given a random fighter to control and, as the battle progresses, is supplied with the same unchosen upgrades. The changes also affected the shooter's popular characters — Sombra, who was moved to the support class, and Torbjörn, who received an improved Metal Thrower. A pleasant surprise for gamers is the return of the battle passes from all previous seasons, meaning that it will now be possible to obtain any reward you are missing for a complete collection.
