The evil spriggan has returned to New World

Amazon Gems has announced that its MMORPG New World has been updated to version 5.0.4. As part of the patch, users will find the return of the "Spriggan's Fury" event, summer armor sets, additions to the list of daily bonuses, tweaks to the combat system, and rewards for completing quests. Here's a closer look at what's happening in the lands of Eternum at the end of July.

The summer festival is coming to an end, but the warm season activities are not over. At least you'll get a good fight. The groves of Eternum are once again troubled, as the dryads from the retinue of the awakened Ennead are at work there. Heroes will have to fight them and challenge the elemental spirits, the most powerful of which is considered a spriggan. Hunting fairy creatures will remain available until August 6: during this period, you can join up to 20-man squads to explore Brightwood, Edengrove, Morningdale, and other locations where fairies have been seen. Roast-hardened weapons will help in the upcoming battles.

For success, gamers will receive fragments of weapons or armor of at least a rare level, scrolls with resources or consumables, as well as obsidian cast. Since the boss can only be defeated three times a day, the number of prizes is limited to three per day. Among the daily rewards it is worth noting the access to the stash, where parts of the equipment made of moss are stored. The developers have also reported refinements to other armor sets. Finally, in the combat mechanics fixed Life Staff skill, which is now allowed to cancel without spending mana, and fixed problems with the speed of bows when using special skills.
