A new map has appeared in Escape from Tarkov
Battlestate Games has updated its extraction shooter Escape from Tarkov to version 1.0.5.0. The main novelty of this patch is a PvE location for playing solo or in a group of up to three people. There are also gameplay changes and character appearance customization options, and the developers have fixed a number of bugs. It is worth noting that this is the first major patch for EFT since the shooter's release on Steam in November last year. Currently, the project has mixed reviews in the Valve store — the public continues to complain about its technical state and the large number of cheaters.
Details of Escape from Tarkov version 1.0.5.0

The "Icebreaker" map is created specifically for playing through the "Borey" story chapter with PvE combat. You will have to find out alone or with friends what the Paradigm Shipping company ship is doing in the vicinity of Tarkov and what secrets are hidden on board. Besides answers to all these questions, gamers will also be able to collect considerable loot — and replenish supplies in the stash. You won't meet random players near the icebreaker — you will deal only with AI-controlled enemies.
Among other changes, it is worth noting the mechanics of assisting in finding items needed to complete quests. Now, having received a task from one of the traders, you will immediately see what exactly needs to be extracted from the raid, and a special marker will indicate the direction of the search — no more writing everything down in a notepad or memorizing it. Purchasable appearance options were also added: Gen 4 for USEC fighters and "Slavyanka" for BEAR mercenaries. The developers also reported on bug fixes. The cause of memory leaks was eliminated, animations became more optimized to reduce CPU load, and visual artifacts when interacting with traders and the Hideout were removed.
