DayZ is celebrating Christmas
Bohemia Interactive's multiplayer action game DayZ is back with winter activities. Only now, thanks to the addition of the snowy map Sahal, gamers can enjoy real winter landscapes, northern fauna and outings for gifts in the cold. And there's plenty to get out of the shelter for: Santa's sleigh crashes over Livonia and Chernarus every now and then. Whoever gets to them first can get the most valuable items from bags and boxes.
Details of the winter holidays in DayZ
The event will run until January 7. What will there be to do during this time? For starters, visit towns and villages where decorated Christmas trees are hidden, and under them lie wrapped presents - sweets, food, themed clothing items, accessories, ammunition and other things. Not only will you collect the loot, but you'll also take a beautiful screenshot against the backdrop of garlands and with friends dressed up in Christmas style. And then there's nothing to stop you from running to the drop site of Santa's sleigh. They operate just like the helicopter crash on other days. That is, you can get cool guns, ammo, appearance customizations, punch cards, and keys.
In Chernarusi and Livonia, the reindeer's appearance has changed - they now look more like fairy tale animals, and in addition they have glowing red noses and garlands on their antlers. In the West, there is a Christmas tradition of giving so-called "ugly" sweaters. Three such items became available to DayZ surviving heroes, and in addition to them - false beards, masks, lollipops in the form of hooks and other attributes of the holiday.
