Classic Call of Duty: Warzone Returns
From the very moment of its appearance, the free-to-play "battle royale" from Activision has been accumulating innovations to stand out from other works in the popular genre. But the developers of Call of Duty: Warzone came to the conclusion that the previous strategy doesn't work — and offered the Black Ops Royale mode. It has no pre-made equipment sets, respawn breaks in the "Gulag," or item purchase stations. So what does it have then? Let's tell you more.
What is known about Black Ops Royale in Call of Duty: Warzone?

Before us is essentially the same "battle royale" as it was during the launch of Blackout. At the start of the match, heroes parachute from a plane in wingsuits without any equipment, except for regular pistols. There are 24 squads or 100 solo players on the map in total, and each one's priority is to find equipment with ammunition. Along the way, you can find five upgrade modules to maximize your gear. Since there are no purchase stations here, a big role is given to chance — whatever tactical set you've assembled, you'll have to fight with it until the end. According to the developers, if you manage to assemble an exotic gun, it will be the key to victory in the match.
Since there's no "Gulag" where killed characters wait out their time in the returned mode, respawn happens immediately, but only if you've found a special token or your friends have captured a tower. Quests have also become available — by completing them, any gamer can increase their battle rewards. You can also notice red gas clouds on the terrain, inside which lie the most valuable prizes, but there are also zombies swarming with the boss Mangler. Only defeating them will bring you the most valuable loot.
