Everyone will be invited to ARC Raiders for free
On October 8, Embark studio's extraction shooter will receive a major Frozen Trail expansion, and on the same day the game will be made free. Access will be granted to the full version, but it will last only four days — until the 12th. This way, the developers want to attract as many gamers as possible. So if you haven't yet familiarized yourself with the genre or haven't played this particular action game, a great opportunity opens up to catch up on what you've missed. What's more, Embark's title is friendly to newcomers and will soon offer PvE battles for those who find PvP too difficult.
More about the temporary free access to ARC Raiders

Frozen Trail will send the heroes to explore a transport hub at the Pendola pass in Italy. Among the snow-covered mountain peaks, the raiders will have to defeat guard robots and find unique artifacts. In addition, there will be battles inside the Frigate, as well as skirmishes with "Hooligans," "Hydras," "Hiders," and other machines from the ARC army. Boosted guns will help with completing tasks — such as the Burletta and the Renegade with an optical sight, while grappling hooks and cables will make getting around the map easier. The battle pass with the new raider decks mechanic will allow you to earn better equipment.
During the promotion, the entire game, including the Frozen Trail content, will be opened to users for free. All you will need to launch it is an account on Steam or any other store (including on consoles). It is also worth noting that shortly after the free access ends, on October 13, a full-fledged PvE mode will go live in the shooter — with trophies, battles, bosses, and familiar locations, but without the rivals who set up ambushes and snatch your loot at the last moment. These raids will be an excellent training ground for newcomers.
