Don’t miss your chance to play Pioner

There’s very little time left before the release of the Russian MMO shooter Pioner about heroes adventuring on an island full of traps and anomalies — the launch is due before the end of 2025. But the creators are letting gamers try their creation early. An open beta test runs until November 11. To join, just visit the shooter’s Steam page or the official site and sign up. The demo, like the previous OBT, is free for everyone.

As is known, the GFA Games shooter is set in a world somewhat reminiscent of the «S.T.A.L.K.E.R.» universe. Players arrive on an island abandoned back in USSR times but now drawing people again because of spreading anomalies. The map easily offers both PvP and PvE activities, plus there are safe zones where heroes buy gear, pick up quests, and rest between sorties. According to the devs, the open beta packs 30 hours of gameplay, including five chapters of the story campaign and assorted battles across locations.

Genre fans can also look forward to the «Manufactory» raid, where a squad fights AI-controlled enemies, the tutorial mission «Crash Site», and the «Carnage» tournament, letting everyone show their mettle at the table of a collectible card mini-game. Finally, players will get three global boss-hunt missions, PvP deathmatch battles, and quest chains in the Robber Wastes and Gloomy Marshes that have been improved since the last test.
