Hurry to play the Bus Bound demo for free

Under the auspices of Saber Interactive publishing, developers from Stillalive studio are preparing a very unusual game — a city passenger bus simulator Bus Bound with multiplayer. The project is currently in the preparation stage, so its release date is not specified on the Steam page, but today anyone can download a free demo version. It already includes both multiplayer and Russian language interface translation. And also — a map of a living settlement with road traffic and pedestrians on the sidewalks.

The authors are no strangers to the genre — they already have an entire Bus Simulator series under their belt, which usually receives positive reviews. So the new game represents a kind of evolutionary step forward. The game takes place in a fictional city called Emberville, where life is bustling day and night. The gamer needs to take on the role of a route bus driver, with the simulator featuring licensed models from American manufacturers with accurate rendering of their cabins and passenger compartments. The road conditions change from one block to another: in some places the traffic is calmer and more orderly, while in others you have to be more careful.

Also announced are day and night cycles, weather condition simulation, and physical properties of the vehicles. In addition to driving, users can engage in setting up bus stops, creating new routes, and developing their characters' skills. Furthermore, there's multiplayer — you can organize a depot for up to four participants, decorate buses in different ways, and work together to win over passengers. Currently, cooperative rides are available to any Steam account holder — just download the demo for free and install the client on your computer.
