"Legion" disbanded: Ubisoft ends support for the latest Watch Dogs

The publisher had grand plans for Watch Dogs: Legion - with regular releases of story DLC and multiplayer content. But something went wrong. Bloodline add-on, that brought the first part's hero Aiden Pearce back to the game, was the last one. Recently Ubisoft announced that the support for "Legion" is ended, and there will be no fresh updates.
In the game you take control of a squad of rebels in the open world of London 2029. To fight the mayhem of the authorities, the resistance recruits people of various talents, both professional killers and hackers, as well as ordinary workers and retirees. This is a system of "play for anyone": before going on a mission, you are allowed to choose a character based on his abilities and value to the team. The loss of a fighter during a mission is sometimes irreversible - in that case you must wander around the locations and replenish the ranks of the "Legion" at the expense of ordinary passers-by.
An important part of Watch Dogs: Legion is multiplayer, which, until recently, was updated in seasons like Fortnite or Warzone. It is on the online, where the bulk of gamers have fun, long past the story campaign, and strikes a blow to the cessation of support. Such a radical decision is associated with the fact that the success rate of the project was lower than that of other popular Ubisoft series - Assassin's Creed and Far Cry.
