Turkey's armed forces will appear in Squad

Soon tactical team-based shooter of Offworld Industries studio will be joined by a new group - Turkish. Its fighters are distinguished not only by their uniforms, but also by a set of tactics, weapons and armored vehicles. The faction has already been tested by users during testing, although the exact date of its release is still unknown. However, judging by the official data, we won't have long to wait.

The arriving units use both their own designs and obsolete Western weapons, so they are versatile in terms of strategy. They don't have any special tools for fighting heavy vehicles - there are only two grenade launchers that can disable light armored vehicles, cars and infantry. These are underbarrel and automatic MKE MGL, which is organized on the principle of a revolver. A special role is given to machine gunners, who operate on the front line, and also to gendarmes, who use SAR 109T submachine guns. These characters are useful if you need to quickly capture an enemy point, but without reliable cover they will quickly lose their potential.

Also in service with the Turkish army are MPT-76 and KNT-76 rifles, MG3 rifles with a scope and HAR-66 anti-tank weapon. Three optics options will be available, as well as, of course, several types of ground vehicles. Among them are BMC 185-09B truck, Cobra II armored vehicle, tracked BMPs and APCs, Turkish-made tank and UH1H helicopter. To find out more details, the developers advise keeping an eye on the news.
