Trailer of a cooperative shooter in the Control universe
Finnish company Remedy Entertainment, known worldwide for its Max Payne and Alan Wake series of games, presented its new project during the Future Games Show event. It will be an action movie for passing in the company of friends, the action of which takes place in the same universe where the events of Control unfold, but in six years. We will again find ourselves in a mysterious agency, captured by otherworldly forces. Only in FBC: Firebreak we will see the opponents from the first person, not from the third.
What's interesting about FBC: Firebreak?

In the game, three gamers team up to go to the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) and clear it of ghosts. You'll have to restore order by firing guns and using "Ghostbusters"-style equipment, so you can choose your gear before each round. Acting as a team, you'll have to complete a series of challenges, each with a reward at the end. The farther you get, the more valuable the prizes will be, but the opponents will also become more difficult. The authors of the game promise unpredictable levels with anomalies that violate the laws of physics, and a little grotesque - how do you like the boss in the form of a sticker-covered figure?
Co-op will be available both with friends on Steam and with random partners chosen by the algorithm, but you won't be able to defeat monsters alone. To complete all the stages will require coordinated teamwork and a smart choice of tools. And we remind you that the project was first announced back in 2021 (then it was called Condor), but now Finnish developers have shown a gameplay trailer. With the game Control 2, the production of which is being conducted in parallel, this action movie is connected only entourage. System requirements of the shooter are still unknown, and it will be released by the end of 2025.
