Throne and Liberty officially coming to Russia

The company «Astrum», known to gamers for releasing many popular Asian MMORPGs in Russian, has announced that it is preparing a localized version of the game by Korean developer NCSoft. The Steam version of this title, as is known, does not support Russian, and the original from the official website is available in English and Korean. Therefore, the initiative of the Russian publisher came at just the right time. The upcoming release already has a website, and NC employees didn't stay on the sidelines either — they released a video where they greeted users from Russia.

In a recently published video, the game's producer and director informed Russian fans that beta testing of the new version will begin very soon, with the final release scheduled for the end of 2026. The new title will be available on two platforms: VK Play and the Astrum Entertainment store. Moreover, it will be available in its complete form — the work of the creators of Lineage, Guild Wars, and Aion can be experienced with all released patches and expansions. Like the global release, this one is planned to be free-to-play. The recommended system requirements include a processor equivalent to an 11th generation Intel Core i5, a GeForce GTX 1660 graphics card, 16 GB of RAM, and 120 GB of free space on an SSD.

The MMORPG is based on several key principles. First, there are no traditional classes for the genre: character abilities and attributes depend on their equipment, and to change combat style, it's enough to swap weapons. Second, all multiplayer gameplay revolves around guilds in one way or another — they wage war, make peace, and divide the fantasy world into zones of influence. But this doesn't eliminate duel arenas and dungeon raids. Russian-speaking gamers will be able to join the adventures later this year.
