Teardown will soon receive multiplayer

Voxel game from independent studio Tuxedo has already won the love of gamers worldwide — since its release in April 2022, it has been receiving only positive reviews on Steam. The essence of the action game Teardown is simple: using an arsenal of tools and available means, you need to gain access to the vault, overcome the guards, and steal valuables. The ability to destroy anything, be it a brick wall or the ground under a building, adds variety to the gameplay. The only thing this «sandbox» was missing was a multiplayer mode. Fortunately, the developers promise to solve this problem on March 12th.

As Tuxedo employees state, multiplayer sessions support up to 12 connections. First of all, gamers should note that the story campaign has become available for co-op play with friends. Access will also be opened to a creative mod and battles like team deathmatch. Two maps will be specifically released for multiplayer soon, but the developers encourage fans to take initiative. Enthusiasts have already created dozens of mods for online matches, as well as locations with tools. All of this will be developed further with the release of the next major patch.

The online modes are currently available in beta format — they will only be added to the main project after practical testing. But if you can't wait to be one of the first participants in group battles, you need to right-click on the game in your Steam library, then select «Properties» and go to the experimental build section. After a short update, Teardown can be launched in test format. As mentioned earlier, the developers plan to release the full update on the 12th.
