SIGame is now on Steam. And it's free

SIGame is probably the world's most famous app for homemade online quizzes. The other day it appeared in the library of the Steam store, where it is offered to everyone for free. Of course, this is not the multiplayer where level 80 elves hit dragons in dungeons with bows, but here you can pump up your erudition and have fun with friends or family. If only everyone had computers and internet.

The game was created in 2002 by Russian programmer Vladimir Khil based on the once popular TV show from the NTV channel. Here, too, there is a choice of categories, a "Cat in a Bag" mode, an auction and a final theme with bets. At first, the project was not impressive, but it received patches year after year, then servers for online competitions were launched, and video bloggers like Yuri Khovansky and Ilya Maddison made a significant contribution to the growing popularity of independent development. They launched Svoyak on their broadcasts, which aroused a lot of interest from ordinary gamers.

In the free Steam-version is already installed a lot of packages with questions, there is a mode of competition with bots, and full multiplayer, as well as an editor that allows you to create your own quizzes on any topic. Interestingly, the description indicates the participation of artificial intelligence in the generation of some pictures and even questions. And most importantly - the system requirements are very low, you can play on any PC. However, as they say in the reviews, most users sit in private sessions, so it is difficult to find partners by random selection - it is better to create your own lobby and call friends or relatives to it.
