Star Citizen is free again

From time to time the Cloud Imperium staff holds an open house in their ambitious, but as yet unreleased project. Anyone can fly starships, fight space pirates, explore a couple of worlds in the Star Citizen universe. Of course, such activities do not do without gifts. Here's how to take part and what to expect from the free version of the game.

The developers have traditionally called the event "Free Flight". And the name was chosen for a reason, because guests are given the opportunity to try out some of the spaceships, which on normal days are available for money. Eight ships are available, including the famous Aegis Redeemer, Aegis Avenger and Anvil Carrack. Gamers will also have access to all the content of alpha 3.17.2, including pilot battles in Arena Commander mode and first-person shootouts in Star Marine.

To take part in "Free Flight", you have to get a free code on the official website, and this, in turn, requires registration. But then everything is simple: just paste the cipher from the clipboard into a special window - and you can start the game. For newcomers, the developers advise to immediately look into the personal cabinet, where there will be a few pleasant surprises. The action with free entrance to the space simulator will last until September 15 this year.
