All six at once: Deadlock will soon have more characters

Quite some time has passed since the announcement of the new MOBA Deadlock by Valve, and there hasn't been much news about its development, although a beta version of the game is already available to some selected gamers who received an invitation. But recently, news emerged that six new heroes will be added to the action game — one every two days. The first will be the vampire girl Mina. Other changes will also be made — we'll tell you more about them.

Details about the six characters are still scarce. It is known that among them will be a demonic goat, a Swiss, a wanderer, the bookworm Page, and an untamable monster. But the main focus now is on Mina, as the other fighters will appear one by one with two-day intervals. The vampire girl appears fragile but is dangerous. At a distance, she deals spiritual damage with her ability «Love Bites», and she can also turn into a swarm of bats to suddenly attack an opponent or escape pursuit. The more blood she manages to drink, the stronger the heroine becomes, and at maximum power, she activates her ultimate ability «Lord of the Night» — releasing bats that silence surrounding opponents.

Also added to the game is the Haven — a location that replaces the old menu. Here, you can wait for a match to start, warm up your fingers on the keyboard, or simply see who you'll be fighting. Additionally, the Haven serves to invite friends to a session and connect to other battles. Finally, from here, you can access various modes, including training and spectating others' fights. The developers report that they have improved the design of the main map and made the hero selection screen before a match more convenient.
