PUBG: Blindspot has been released
Krafton has announced the early access release on Steam of the tactical shooter PUBG: Blindspot, where teams of five players battle each other in a top-down view. Although the game is formally part of the PUBG universe, users note its similarity to Rainbow Six. It features class selection, 'sharing' of the field of view with squadmates, and that very 'blind spot' from the title—an invisible area from which an opponent can suddenly attack. However, many are already wondering: was the new release worth the long wait?
More details about PUBG: Blindspot

This team shooter was initially conceived as an imitation of Counter-Strike, where two groups of five gamers also battle each other. But then the idea changed somewhat and gained interesting details. The most important feature of the new game is the viewing angle that reveals what your character can see. Outside this cone, any object, including an opponent, remains invisible, while the enemy can easily take aim at you if you're in their field of view. Visible areas are shared with the entire team: allies can see everything in front of you, and vice versa. But what's hidden will be a 'blind spot' for the entire squad.
The second key to success is the proper distribution of roles, as there are several character classes available. For example, it makes sense to place a shield-bearing fighter in the vanguard, and you can also build and destroy obstacles, use special gadgets, and unique character abilities. An interesting feature is the ability to crouch, which is rare for top-down shooters, but being in a half-crouch makes it easier for the shooter to hide from enemy fire. An important advantage of this action game is that it's available for free, even to those who don't own the original PUBG.
