Announcement of Embers of the Uncrowned took place

The Korean company Nexon, known for MapleStory, Dungeon & Fighter, and Sudden Attack, has presented a new MMORPG Embers of the Uncrowned. Its action will unfold in a fairy-tale world, where elves are represented as conquerors and supporters of the forces of evil, and the terrain is populated by monsters spawned by corruption. Among the project's features are characters who come to the rescue in difficult times, an emphasis on the gamer's skill in combat, several types of bosses, and an isometric top-down view. Already from the cinematic trailer, it is clear that the game's setting is quite grim. In its world, human kingdoms fell under the blows of elven troops. The remaining warriors banded together into squads to oppose the invaders, but there are too few of them — only a hero from the Harbervell family can change the situation. The heir of a noble family is capable of returning former greatness to their native lands by fighting elven legions and corrupted creatures. Bosses in the game are of two types right away: some hold separate domains under their rule, while others will be available in raids. Also, at any moment of the battle, you will be allowed to summon an advisor — a special assistant. By choosing a protagonist of one of three classes (Executioner, Phantom Swordswoman, or Storm Spellcaster), you will also be able to found a settlement and engage in its development.

Judging by the description, the emphasis in the new release will be placed on PvE battles, where gamers will act in groups against powerful enemies. And also a combination of several role-playing systems at once is promised, allowing to unlock the potential of each character. The RPG part will be complemented by rich appearance customization, although the choice of the hero's gender is promised to be added closer to release. The game's release date has not been announced yet, but the system requirements have been published: you will need a computer with 64-bit Windows 11, an Intel i5 ninth-series level processor, 16 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card, and 30 gigabytes of free space on the drive.
