The union of two masterpieces — the collaboration between «Tarkov» and «Duckov»

Few FPS fans are unaware of Escape from Tarkov. This game stands at the origins of an entire genre and has greatly influenced the development of the entire industry, spawning many epigones. Among such imitations is the Chinese online action game Escape from Duckov, where instead of tough mercenaries and special forces, cartoon ducks battle each other, and the camera shows the battlefield from a third-person perspective. The game suddenly became popular — and now the creators of the original have taken notice. The start of the merger of the two universes is scheduled for February 10th of this year.

So far, we have information about the «duck» part of the collaboration. EFD will specifically acquire a new map for this occasion, replicating the familiar views of Tarkov, an improved horseback riding system for rapid movement across the battlefield, and a collection of appearance customizations inspired by EFT's design. In particular, judging by the trailer, armor styles characteristic of USEC and BEAR soldiers will appear, along with recognizable pieces of equipment — such as Killa's black helmet adorned with three white stripes reminiscent of the tracksuit worn by this boss as he runs around «Interchange».

Some festival content is also promised, but what it entails remains unknown. The developers will reveal more details closer to the start of the event, that is, a couple of days before February 10th. The employees of Battlestate Games are in no hurry to show their hand and, unlike their colleagues from the Chinese studio BiliBili, have not yet announced any special events.
