After a long silence, the storm broke: the company Ubisoft held a big presentation of multiplayer pirate action game Skull and Bones. The developers revealed the gameplay details, showed the graphics, briefly described the storyline and announced the release date. In addition, they've posted a beautiful trailer on YouTube, which gives you an idea how serious everything is.

In the world of the game, different players will interact with each other. They will be able to choose their own characters, build ships and take out contracts at pirate bases to operate on the waves alone or to stage joint raids. The system is designed in such a way that each captain gradually increases his reputation - and opens up new opportunities in terms of equipping the ship and hiring crew. At the same time, the treasury grows. If, for example, a corsair who has grown rich by plundering goes down, after reviving in the nearest fortress he will retain only part of the goods. The rest will remain in the place of death - the gamer will have to decide whether to return for the lost or leave everything to other lovers of profit.

There will be several types of ships, including clumsy but capacious cargo ships, speedy reconnaissance and heavily fortified combat ships. Weapons will include almost the entire arsenal of the 17th century, even flamethrowers. The developers promise a cross-platform mode for PC and consoles, and the game will be released, according to official data, on November 8, 2022.
