New specializations will soon be available in Guild Wars 2

The authors of the popular MMORPG from Arena Net have introduced several important changes to their game. Firstly, starting August 20, three new specializations related to additional hero abilities will become available in Guild Wars 2. Secondly, resource-gathering assistants were showcased — skritts, resembling oversized rodents like Master Splinter from «Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles». These amusing creatures can be obtained for personal use starting today.

Skritts are available in a toolset sold in the digital store for 2700 gems. Additionally, you can take advantage of a discount during the «Four Winds» festival — during which prices are reduced for Zephyrite Aspect helmets, Phoenix Kite gliders, and the Aspect Master two-handed sword skin. As for the newly added specializations, there are three, as mentioned. The first is the Summoner. Their power is linked to a dragon that left a magical trace in the fantasy world, allowing the norn to communicate with otherworldly entities. As familiars, the norn summon elemental spirits, with each element represented by a specific animal. The fire spirit is a fox, water — an otter, air — a hare, and so on.

The next specialization is the Amalgam. Such a hero operates in symbiosis with mercury mold, providing flexible tactical configurations. The ultimate skill called «Evolution» allows the character to become completely metallic — and in this form, they can become either extremely strong, very agile, or stun nearby enemies. In short, you'll control something like the liquid robot from «Terminator 2». Rounding out the trio is the Conduit — they apply Cosmic Wisdom in connection with stances, which opens the path to enhancing their abilities.
