Testing of an anime-style shooter in the vein of Apex Legends will begin soon
Saroasis Studios announced that on July 24th, a closed beta test will begin for the action game Fate Trigger, featuring anime characters in combat. Players can expect gunfights reminiscent of Apex Legends, but with significant differences between heroes, as each character has their own unique traits. Moreover, the game will include building mechanics like Fortnite and other modes beyond battle royale, including cooperative play. Here's why this new title is worth paying attention to.
What to expect from Fate Trigger?

Previously, this project was announced under the name Fate Trigger: The Novita, but the developers later decided to shorten the title. Now, genre enthusiasts can sign up for the CBT by submitting a request through the standard Steam store form (click "Request Access" on the game's page). If desired, you can also download the official Saroasis launcher—the developers claim there's no difference between these two options. Among the languages available in the shooter from the start is Russian, which is rare these days. The recommended system requirements include an Intel Core i7-8700K processor, 16GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or better graphics card, and 40GB of free SSD storage. Unfortunately, old hard drives are becoming obsolete for modern gaming.
But what awaits gamers in the action game itself? It's designed in a style that has already become mainstream. There's plenty of imitation of Japanese animation, flashy effects, and an abundance of female characters. At the same time, the development is based on the latest Unreal Engine 5. Various modes are promised—from battle royale and point defense to cooperative challenges. Variable tactics are ensured by weapon customization and unique fighter abilities. The game's release date is still unknown, but pre-loading for test participants will begin on the 23rd of this month.
