Soon, you’ll be able to play the action game from the creators of ArcheAge

The company XLGAMES, responsible for developing the popular MMORPG ArcheAge, is currently working on an action game with evacuation in a post-apocalyptic setting. This game is titled THE CUBE, SAVE US. The project will be built on the fifth-generation Unreal Engine, and the new title already has a page on Steam. According to the description, Russian language support is promised. Soon, all gamers will be able to try the action game in action, as it will participate in the annual festival «Let There Be Games,» which offers free demos of upcoming hits.

After a giant cube appeared in the sky above Earth, humanity perceived it as an act of aggression, but in the end, people destroyed their own civilization. The survivors began to study the strange object more carefully. For them, it turned into a kind of survival game: those who manage to escape the cube alive will receive valuable loot, while those who fail will disappear forever. This is the premise of the new action game from the creators of ArcheAge. The cube consists of 27 fragments, each with its own environmental conditions, monsters, and bosses. But besides AI-controlled creatures, you will also face other gamers—up to 63 connections per session are supported.

Whether you act as a team or solo, the goal is the same for everyone. You must infiltrate one of the locations, collect loot, fend off enemies, and evacuate from the danger zone. Trailers showcasing gameplay are already available, but if you want to try it yourself, the demo festival will take place on Steam from October 14 to 21. You can download the «demo» for free and compete for loot with other players.
