«Radiant Wilds» Await Albion Online Heroes
Company Sandbox Interactive is preparing its MMORPG Albion Online for the release of a major update scheduled for April 13th. As the developers themselves put it, this update is designed to strengthen the game's foundations. Gamers can expect visual improvements to the fairy-tale world, technical fixes and performance optimization, as well as a duel arena, an «Arsenal» menu for selecting the perfect gear, and much more. Let's take a closer look at what will change in Albion next month.
How will the «Radiant Wilds» expansion improve Albion Online?

The graphics upgrade isn't limited to just working with lighting and textures — developers promise to present improved biomes, redrawn vegetation and water bodies, as well as beautiful cloud shadows on the ground. All of this is designed to enrich the user experience and make adventures more exciting. But such changes would be difficult to implement without a major technical overhaul. The patch will include various CPU performance and frame rate improvements. Systems will be switched to asynchronous loading, allowing the client to process effects faster. Additionally, the HUD will include a packet loss indicator — so gamers can personally monitor connection quality during online sessions.
An Arena improvement is coming, featuring a duel mode for two heroes who want to determine who is stronger. Time limits, equipment restrictions, and round counts will be implemented. Additionally, a «Crystal Arena» will be introduced where two teams of five players each can face off. The «Arsenal» will help check gear before venturing into the open world or PvP battlefields. This function will evaluate the equipment on your character and provide tips for creating an optimal build. In other words, you'll be able to gear up for different activities without unnecessary hassle or calculations.
