Superheroes are making a comeback in the free Ship of Heroes

Heroic Games employees decided to revive the classic MMORPG City of Heroes in the form of a similar project, where people take control of characters endowed with superpowers. But the work on the project is still underway - no release date has been set yet. Nevertheless, gamers will have the opportunity to try the game for free until October 16 - during the Steam Next festival, where publishers open access to many demos.

The peculiarity of this online action game is that everyone can create a unique hero using the built-in editor. This applies to both appearance, including the costume, and supernatural abilities. Then the newly created superman finds himself in the world of the future, where people are threatened by various dangers. Boss battles, PvP and PvE-activities are planned for the game, as well as the traditional for the genre arrangement of personal base in the virtual world. Of course, the demo will not include all the content, but only a small part of it.

As part of Steam Next users will have access to the character creation editor, where you can create up to ten superheroes on one account. If there is a need for some additional jewelry or bonuses, to purchase the necessary will allow you to buy a gift of 100,000 units of virtual currency. The developers will also allow you to pass the first chapter of the story Sword Blossom, where the defenders of peace and justice will face the threat of Prometheans and the intrigues of Dr. Cornish. The test server is ready to accept all comers - free access will be open until October 16.
