The Seventh Season and Black Cat in Marvel Rivals

NetEase employees acted unusually when they decided to split one of the seasons of their superhero online shooter in half. On April 17, they will update the game to version 7.5 — in it, gamers will get access to Spider-Man's comic book partner, a PvE mode where they must stop Dracula himself, and a bit later, an asymmetric competition between a group of heroes and Loki will open. Additionally, the developers have expanded the costume selection for some fighters, including Magik, Gambit, and Emma Frost. Let's find out what will entertain gamers in the second half of this month.

What's changing in Marvel Rivals version 7.5?

In the comics, Felicia Hardy, also known as Black Cat, was involved in theft until she met Spider-Man, with whom she even had a romantic relationship — together they not only walked under the moon but also patrolled the city and fought various villains. The game's authors have preserved the girl's acrobatic talent: she climbs vertical walls, performs double jumps, and prefers close combat to conventional weapons. Artifacts from the thieves' guild vault help not only the heroine but her entire squad — they allow dealing damage to opponents and performing sudden maneuvers (for example, opening a portal through a wall). In a group with Captain America and White Fox, Felicia also enhances her friends' combat skills.

PvE battles in the Blood Hunt mode will become available from April 23. Here, the famous vampire Dracula will play the role of the main antagonist, who, like all villains, seeks to seize power. But the heroes can prevent him from doing so if they act together. The asymmetric PvP mode, in turn, will start on the 30th of this month. In it, the team will face Loki — participants will be able to choose which side to play on in the match.
