From sky to ground. Foxhole update announced
The war simulator from Siege Camp is known for all its users interacting to achieve common strategic goals. Everyone chooses their role here: some directly command troops, and if there's no desire for that, one can engage in other activities, as someone needs to produce supplies and deliver them to the front, transport resources, repair equipment—thus, everyone contributes to their army's success. Until recently, all actions in the game Foxhole took place on land and at sea, but the developers decided to add a new factor to the familiar formula—air.

In the words of Siege Camp employees, a new era is beginning in the game as they add aviation and everything related to it, including airborne forces. Knowing how everything works here, many have already guessed that people will be needed for fuel logistics, construction and maintenance of airfields, and even planning strikes on enemy bases. At the same time, gamers will be able to control squadrons of fighters, bombers, and cargo planes. Infantry will no longer operate solely on the front line—paratroopers can be deployed anywhere their transport aircraft can reach. This will open up opportunities for surprise attacks behind enemy lines and assaults on their infrastructure (to disrupt, for example, one of the logistical chains).
New mechanics will also include air combat. Each navigator, pilot, or machine gunner will be controlled by a live player—everything will be done the same way as in other aspects of gameplay. Here, the success of tactical operations also largely depends on the proper distribution of roles within the squad. The main threat to flying machines will be anti-aircraft guns located in shelters—their positions will need to be scouted before each mission. The Airborne expansion is scheduled for release on February 9th.
