A new mode and Halloween - the seventh season of Overwatch 2

Blizzard Entertainment has announced the main features of the Rise of Darkness season, which will start in the online shooter on October 10. In it fans will get access to a new map, celebrate Halloween in battles with demonic enemies, flaunt with themed appearance types, appreciate the redesigned abilities of Sombra and take part in other activities. Trials of Sanctuary is a new mode where heroes in teams of six battle demons for rewards. Azmodan Wrecking Ball, Butcher Roadhog and Lilith Moira are among the bosses announced for this challenge. Also returning to the action movie will be Wrath of the Bride and Junkenstein's Revenge, familiar to fans from last Halloween. These activities will continue through November 1. And until October 17, you will be able to unlock characters and one of seventeen themed skins for credits earned during the trials. You can try out characters with updated appearance on Samoa - an island map with beaches, villages and even an active volcano. The lava flowing from it can seriously harm the fighters.

Sombra will get an upgrade of his skills: he will be deprived of "Opportunist", and "Stealth" will become a passive ability, but there will be "Virus", which gradually causes damage to the marked enemy. Translocator will now instantly teleport the heroine exactly where it will be thrown. Finally, for the entrance from October 10 to October 16 gamers will receive a gift in the form of 3000 credits, which can be spent on characters, their costumes and other decorations.
