"Path of the Adventurer" dramatically changes Pax Dei
The developers from Mainframe Industries, having collected a lot of feedback about their project, decided to disguise Pax Dei as a fantasy RPG. For this purpose, they presented an updated combat system, where there was a place for sword and magic, as well as for dozens of weapon varieties with different characteristics. They also added more story chapters and other features that are not typical for open-world sandboxes, as this MMO was originally presented. Let's tell you what's going on in it right now.

The story of the changes should start with the fact that there are now ten home valleys available instead of six, with the wildlands becoming smaller and more diverse. There are more animals in the wilderness, and hunters have a new profession - skinning. In general, the open-world mechanics have been developed. On the other hand, the game clearly changes its focus - towards classic MMORPGs. The balance of the combat system is redesigned so that gamers during sorties can collect traditional squads with attacking and supporting characters. 65 unique weapons are claimed, as well as various enchantments including invisibility, healing, and armor destruction.
In addition, a familiar role-playing system is implemented, where characters unlock combat skills related to equipment and armor, and experience is gained from defeating enemies. Adventurers will find more reasons to return to the game thanks to the addition of story and points of interest. Apparently, the audience wasn't impressed with the open world where it's every man for himself and does what he wants. Now there is more organization in the game, even for those gamers who still want to craft rather than solve scripted problems - they've added more professions, tools, and workbenches.
