The Krafton team continues to develop the recently added to PUBG Battle Royale map "Rondo". Patch 27.2 is dedicated to it. It adds equipment stores, armored UAZ, rocks from the sky, an anomaly and many other interesting changes to the familiar terrain. On personal computers the update is already available, but console owners will be able to download it only on January 18.

What's changing in PUBG: Battlegrounds in the first month of 2024?

Now heroes can find special KB coins on the expanses of "Rondo" to exchange them for useful items near market terminals. The latter come in three levels - the bigger the number on the case, the more rare things are sold here. There is also an element of randomness - for example, nothing prevents you from investing the specified amount of money in an unknown item, the properties of which you will learn only after receiving it. But you should keep in mind that the most important trading points are guarded, so you will have to engage in a firefight to interact with them. Also with the update of the game to version 27.2 the sale of equipment became available.

Other new features include a rocket launcher with an emergency shield and an armored black UAZ. The first one occupies a throwing weapon cell in the inventory and allows you to drop several concrete blocks on the ground, which can be easily used as shelters if the enemy suddenly catches you by surprise on the open ground. The car, in turn, is usually stored in the garage near the market. Its health is 2500, its average speed is 90 kilometers per hour, and it also has a trunk for transporting loot. The car, of course, is also guarded by fighters from the "Pillar" group.

Finally, game trials have been added, passing them during a match increases your reward. And one of the most unusual features of "Rondo" are electromagnetic zones, where crosshairs are not displayed, vehicles with internal combustion engines do not work, and in general all gadgets, except for tasers and C4 explosives, fail.
