PUBG merged with Jujutsu Kaisen

The manga by Gege Akutami is considered one of the most popular in the world — it was even included in the Guinness Book of Records and published in many languages, including Russian. There are also anime adaptations and video games set in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. The collaboration with PUBG was announced in the summer of 2021, but only now has the project taken its final form. Gamers can take control of characters from the famous saga and defeat enemies using specially designed weapons. But these are far from all the items available in the online shooter update.

What makes Jujutsu Kaisen interesting in PUBG: Battlegrounds?

Changes have occurred in both ranked and regular matches, as well as in the casual mode. Crates have appeared on the starting island — if you throw spheres into them (each hero receives 20 of them), a statue of teacher Satoru Gojo will be revealed. The drop planes and certain locations on the Erangel map have also received new designs. Airdrops are also styled in the anime aesthetic. In the 'Hideout' menu, you can now obtain contraband with a themed skin, modified 'Weapon Inspection' animation, guns, emotes, and scopes. For G-Coin currency, you can additionally unlock polymers, tokens, and blueprints.

Among the character skins, Satoru Gojo, Megumi Fushiguro, Yuji Itadori, and Nobara Kugisaki have been announced. If desired, you can even decorate the pan using virtual currency — it has three upgrade levels. Collaboration events allow you to earn prizes for various tasks, ranging from simple ones (like entering the lobby) to complex ones. Reward distribution will last until September 24 on PC and until October 1 on consoles. Meanwhile, items and heroes from Jujutsu Kaisen will remain in the game until the middle of next month.
