PUBG is giving away for free

Until recently, publishers demanded about a thousand rubles for PUBG: Battlegrounds. It was the last "battle royale" of this class, which was sold for money. However, from January 12 it was made conditionally free: now you can download and run the game without investing a penny. However, previous purchasers will not be left behind - they are waiting for some bonuses.

Although evaluations of the game remain contradictory, the public has taken the news well. Almost immediately after switching to a free-to-play format, PUBG became twice as popular - the number of players online grew to more than 650,000. According to Steam statistics, the last time people showed such interest in the "battle royale" in April before last year. Nevertheless, this shooter is still very far from the results of its main competitor, Fortnite.

To ensure that people who bought PUBG for full price don't feel left out, they will be provided with Battlegrounds Plus features. This is access to all modes, including ranked matches, as well as bonus experience points, character customization kits and starting capital in the form of in-game currency G-Coin. Free account holders will have to pay for this expansion.
