Premiere of SAND: Raiders of Sophie
Studio Hologryph, with the support of publisher tinyBuild, has created an unusual online action game in a steampunk style, where heroes must survive on the surface of a planet destroyed as a result of a catastrophe. The world has turned into a desert, but the surviving people can still fight each other for the remaining resources, moving across the dunes in walking steam-powered robot bases. The game SAND: Raiders of Sophie is entering Steam Early Access on June 22, and in the meantime, we will tell you what is known about it.
What makes SAND: Raiders of Sophie interesting?

Imagine a desert planet called Sophie, somewhat reminiscent of Arrakis from "Dune". It only seems lifeless, because raiders operate on its surface: they gather trampers from scrap materials (huge walking robots like ships — with engines, cabins, weapons, and so on), fight each other for resources, and hoard loot in their holds. The tramper is a modular structure, whose different parts can be changed and upgraded. For example, installing new guns instead of old ones or upgrading driving characteristics. This fortress protects the characters both from the vagaries of nature and from bandit raids.
Aboard such a robot, there can be either one person or a whole crew, where everyone has their own role. In a team, naturally, you have a better chance of winning and getting rich. The objectives on the map are abandoned cities and sunken ships, inside which there is always something to profit from. But the loot attracts other raiders as well, so in the PvPvE mode, you will have to be especially vigilant. The most valuable trophies can be taken out of the sandstorm, but what exactly is stored there will only become clear after the game's release.
