Multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 shown
As part of the announcement of the fourth installment of the famous MW series, dedicated to fictional conflicts of the modern world, the developers also showed the multiplayer modes of the upcoming new release. This time, the action of the military online shooter will unfold in Korea and Southeast Asia in general, so the maps for matches will be styled with an Eastern flavor. Notably, alongside the main game, a mode with DMZ extraction was announced, where gamers will have to steal secret technologies from a dynamically changing combat zone as part of squads. The release of the action game is scheduled for October 23.
What is known about the multiplayer of CoD: MW 4 at the moment?

The game's authors emphasize three features that will make multiplayer matches in it especially engaging. These are a realistic ballistic model without spread, but with improved recoil, convergence, and control, as well as a new character movement control system and 12 core starting maps that will be available from the day of release. A special place among the announced locations will be taken by Kill Block — it is a universal combat arena capable of changing its structure and design, which is dictated by the setting, as it is part of the Westbridge training complex. A total of more than 500 configurations are provided, and in addition, there will be a choice of match formats based on the number of users — whether you set up a "three-on-three" or squad battles of ten participants.
The distinctive feature of firefights in Kill Block is that they are unpredictable. The level changes with each new match due to the rearrangement of its constituent blocks and the updating of combat conditions, so you will have to adapt anew each time. Thus, a single arena can replace an entire set of maps, as it already contains city streets, industrial buildings, and forests with mountains, while a separate polygon system is responsible for changing weather conditions. Players can fight enemies in summer or winter, when they will have to reload their weapons more often to prevent them from jamming in the cold.
