Blizzard employees responsible for the development of the online shooter Overwatch 2, launched on January 5 the in-game event Battle for Olympus. The action will last until the 19th of the same month, so the time to participate is limited - it makes sense to join now.

"Battle for Olympus" in Overwatch 2

Seven characters will change as part of the temporary competition. Ramattra, the omni commander, will become Poseidon, who scatters his opponents with a whirlwind. Turboswin will become Cyclops Polyphemus, familiar to the public from Homer's "The Odyssey", this hero, like his mythical prototype, throws boulders at his victims. Farrah as Hades gets the ability to heal, Lucio gets the skills and attire of Hermes, and the Fatal Widow turns enemies into stone, because she acts as Medusa. The developers also equipped Reinhardt with magical powers, making him a Minotaur with a charge replenishment bonus.

All Battle for Olympus users will be able to participate, regardless of the level and unlocked content. Champion of the ancient Greek battles will receive the main prize - a personalized statue on one of the cards. But other gamers are waiting for valuable rewards, the accrual of which will depend on the number of kills committed in the matches.
