Legends of Ymir details have been released
More and more details are emerging about the upcoming MMORPG Legends of Ymir from Korean company Wemade. Recently, the developers held a broadcast to answer gamers' questions and talk about some of the features of their project. And even posted a trailer, which makes it clear that the game not only in the title, but also in the design contains elements of fairy-tale Scandinavian environment in the style of the latest God of War parts. Let's tell you what else became known during this event.
What to expect from Legends of Ymir?
The developers from Wemade intend to put a special emphasis on the combat system, including the feeling of the blows. At the same time, the mechanics are oriented primarily on mobile devices - to create an accessible touch control and add QTEs that trigger spectacular scenes. What is also interesting, about three quarters of all actions will be automatic, that is, the user will have to press the buttons only during battles or trading. Creating your hero, everyone will be able to choose a class: today announced skald, völva, berserk and konung, but what exactly is the difference between them, we can only guess, based on the names.
It is also known that the game will not mix PvP and PvE modes, and also add a complex economic system with a link to blockchain technology. Items created as non-replaceable tokens (NFT) will be allowed to be sold along with resources and other valuables, but apparently not for virtual currency, but for real currency. The release date has already been set for February 20, but we are talking about the Korean version. When the global version will appear, there is no information at the moment.
