Online Western Frontier Legends to release at the end of May

A multiplayer Wild West survival simulator will appear in Steam Early Access as early as the 29th of this month. This is exactly the information shared with gamers by the developers from Neojac Entertainment. Of course, one way or another, Frontier Legends will be compared to Red Dead Online — the most advanced game with multiplayer on the same theme at the moment. The immediate thought is that 'Legends' will definitely have to offer the public something that the Rockstar team hasn't thought of — otherwise, its chances of success are slim.

What makes Frontier Legends noteworthy?

Already from the trailer of the online Western, it's clear that it has nothing to surprise with technically. Horseback riding, shooting, graphics, and generally all animations here look much less impressive than in RDO. In this regard, competing with Rockstar Games is pointless. However, the new game will take up less space on the computer — it requires only 30 GB instead of 150. And overall, its fundamentals are different: it's a classic 'sandbox' with survival in an open world. You will be able to freely choose a spot for a base foundation on the map, and then set up in that location not just a camp with a tent and a campfire, but an entire settlement. Economic and residential buildings, vegetable patches, defensive structures — everything can be placed exactly as you like best.

The developers promise a mechanic for hiring NPC settlers for various positions and jobs if you don't have enough live companions for the normal functioning of your base. The game will feature weather and day/night cycles, as well as a multitude of activities and professions. Some users are free to master crafts, others — to go hunting or fishing, and still others — to catch mustangs or breed horses at home. Along the way, characters will search for treasures, explore abandoned buildings in an attempt to unravel their secrets, and complete seasonal challenges.
