December hasn't even started yet, but 343 Industries' free-to-play multiplayer action game Halo Infinite is ready to welcome it properly. The main innovation of the patch, released on November 5, is the third-person view, which brings players back to the days of classic Halo episodes. Also available to the public are numerous gameplay changes and Operation Grand Journey, inspired by the second installment of the Future Warriors saga, which is now celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The fresh operation gives users who have reached level 20 access to fight for a set of armor "Tremaleon", which is made at the Kolaar Manufactorum and given to Spartans from the Swords of Sanghelios unit. Those who upgrade to Premium Pass will also receive the Veteran SRS99 weapon, which is modeled after the sniper rifle from Halo 2. Also added to the game is the MA5K gun, originally featured on the Ghosts of Onyx cover and used by Spartan-III super soldiers. It is an automatic rifle with a 60-round magazine.

In the settings of matches in Firefight: King of the Hill mode appeared not only third-person view, but also activation of 20% increase in jump height, disabling sprint and the choice of secondary weapons. And Forge has revamped the Ascension, Beaver Canyon, and Boulevard battlefields. All these maps are familiar to the fans, which have been improved taking into account the capabilities of the modern engine. Sandbox mode has been improved due to the new balance of weapons and equipment - in particular, the bullet spread of MK50 Sidekick and VK78 Commando has been increased. We would like to remind you that Halo Infinite multiplayer is available to everyone for free, and you have to pay for the single-player campaign.
