October in Albion Online: bone horse and ripe pumpkins

In the second month of autumn, the popular MMORPG Albion Online offers gamers plenty of interesting things. This includes a boost to fame points for heroes across all of Albion, the now-customary monthly challenges with a Ghost Bat as the prize, and a bone horse as a reward for inviting a friend. Since Halloween is approaching, the developers have styled all the prizes in a fitting theme. And how to get them — we'll tell you below.

Until October 12, you can still take part in the «Fame Race», which gives a boost to points for any actions on the map, whether it's raids against dungeon bosses, dragon hunting, resource gathering, gear crafting, or simple fishing. Only battles in PvP mode don't grant such bonuses, but you'll still need to assemble a close-knit team for faster hero leveling. Another path of progression is the autumn challenges with rewards: an avatar frame, intuition books, silver and other resources, as well as a bat appearance for a mount. The main advantage of this skin is «Teleportation», which instantly transfers the rider to any chosen point.

Inviting friends via a referral link traditionally brings benefits too, after which the invitee needs to activate a month of premium subscription. For one friend, you'll be given the «Armored Bone Horse» skin, and for subsequent ones you'll receive hundreds of thousands of fame points, not counting a bonus of 500 gold for each. It's worth noting that neither the Ghost Bat nor the Bone Horse can overcome obstacles that are beyond the capabilities of other mounts — in this sense, the game is still stingy with concessions.
