Company System Era only recently announced the release date of the online space exploration simulator (June 11 this year), but is already ready to launch testing with the participation of regular gamers. The multiplayer and server stability test for Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions will take place between June 5 and 7, and the test will be available immediately on several platforms besides PC: XBOX, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, and among the supported languages, Russian is also declared — along with Chinese and English. Let's tell you more about what to expect from this event and how to participate in it.

What you need to know before launching the Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions test?

The game check before the release will take place for free — it will be enough just to add it to the wishlist, and then find its page in the digital store you use and download the client on the 5th of this month. According to the developers, the network test is a test of server stability. This is important because the gameplay is built on the interaction of gamers in one team. After all, according to the rules of the game, heroes must unite to explore space together aboard the starship Starseeker, landing on the surface of unfamiliar planets, extracting resources and fighting bizarre creatures that behave aggressively.

As you delve deeper into the galaxy, you will be able to upgrade both the ship and its crew members to respond to increasingly difficult challenges. Interestingly, for the duration of the test, cross-platform gameplay support will be enabled — console owners will be able to join computer users' sessions. Also, all participants of this event will receive unique costumes for their characters for free — they can be transferred to the final version. In the test mode, however, not the entire star map will be available, but only a part of it, including the planet Tefra, and the leveling of astronauts will be limited to the seventh level.
