Release date for the global version of Aion 2 announced
NC publishing staff brought news about the second part of the popular MMORPG Aion 2 to the Gamescom 2026 exhibition. Although it has long been available to Korean gamers, fans of the genre from other countries are still waiting for the release of a localized version. The developers did not disappoint expectations: they not only showed a fresh trailer, but also announced that the game's worldwide release is scheduled for October 5 of this year. Moreover, the new title will also appear on Steam, and preliminary testing participants will be able to familiarize themselves with it in advance.
Details about the global release of Aion 2

The second part takes place on the continent of Atreia 200 years after the events of the first. The open world here is dozens of times larger than the map from the original game, and heroes can fight both on land and in the sky, as well as dive underwater in search of something valuable. There are nine character classes in the new title, but the international version, unlike the Korean one, will only get eight. At the same time, the editor allowing manual setting of more than 200 appearance parameters will remain unchanged. The Unreal 5 engine is responsible for the beauty of the environment and animations, and the basis of PvP is the eternal war of Asmodians with Elyos, the twists and turns of which all fans of the original Aion follow with interest.
Initially, the sequel was planned to be released for all countries in September, but now the final release date has become known — October 5. Two hundred dungeons and all the content of the first Asian season are announced for the "global version." Although the game is presented on Steam, gamers from Russia will most likely have to use the proprietary NC launcher for installation. It is also known that the client will support 10 languages, including Russian.
